PAS 2030 is a certification, which must be applied for by businesses claiming funding under the ECO schemes. PAS 2030 proves a business has complied with the specified standards for their installations.

PAS 2035 is an industry standard for retrofitting, providing guidelines for energy efficiency specification, including assessment, design, installation and monitoring. PAS 2030 and PAS 2035 are inextricably linked to each other.

Current energy efficiency measures include loft and wall insulation, energy-efficient windows and doors, energy-efficient heating systems, such as heat pumps, solar panels, and draught proofing. These measures are designed to reduce energy consumption and improve home energy ratings.
